Buddzy – Trust & Safety Policy
Last Updated: October 2026
These standards apply to the Buddzy: Your People, Your Game mobile app (Android and iOS) and to buddzy.app, operated by Buddzy SAS.
1. Our Commitment
At Buddzy, we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), harassment, or any behavior endangering minors. Our app is designed as a positive, safe, and fun social environment to celebrate friendship — not to host or promote harmful content.
2. Prohibited Content and Behavior
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation imagery (CSAE) or any nudity involving minors
- Grooming, predatory behavior, or solicitation of minors
- Bullying, harassment, hate speech, or threats
- Sharing personal information of others without consent (doxing)
- Incitement to violence, discrimination, or self-harm
- Use of the app to organize or promote illegal activities
3. How to Report
You can report inappropriate content or user behavior directly from within the app using the "Report" option on any profile or shared content. Alternatively, you can contact us at safety@buddzy.app.
4. Our Response and Enforcement
Photos and text submitted to Challenges, Lore Quizzes, and Reveal are checked for safety before they are published; when that check cannot reach a clear verdict, the content is blocked rather than published. Every report is reviewed by our moderation team. If a violation is confirmed:
- The content is immediately removed
- The user may be suspended or permanently banned
- In cases of illegal material (CSAE or similar), we report the content to the appropriate authorities
5. Cooperation with Authorities
Buddzy SAS cooperates with the competent authorities to combat online child exploitation. In France, illegal content is reported to PHAROS, the national reporting platform of the Ministry of the Interior. Internationally, we follow the guidelines of the NCMEC and cooperate with the relevant national authorities.
6. Educational and Support Resources
If you or someone you know is facing online harassment or exploitation, please contact:
- e-Enfance / 3018 (France — free helpline for young people facing online harassment)
- NCMEC CyberTipline (USA)
- Child Helpline International
7. Child Safety Point of Contact
Our designated child safety point of contact is safety@buddzy.app. This contact receives notifications about child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including from app stores and authorities, and can speak to our CSAM prevention, review and enforcement practices. It is also the address for any other safety or moderation concern.
For general support: support@buddzy.app
Together, we make Buddzy a safe place for friendship and positivity.
