Delete Your Account & Data

Deleting your account will permanently remove your Buddzy account and all personal data associated with it. This process is free of charge and complies with GDPR and Google Play requirements.

How to delete your account (In-App)

1. Open the Buddzy app on your phone.
2. Go to Settings › Privacy › Delete my account.
3. Read the confirmation message and tap Confirm.
4. Your account will be scheduled for deletion and permanently removed within 30 days.

Web Request (Manual Deletion)

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, use the form below to request a manual deletion.

What data will be deleted?

• Profile: Name, username, avatar, account information.
• App activity: Friends, rankings, interactions, preferences.
• Technical data: Tokens, internal identifiers.

Data temporarily retained

Certain items are retained only for legal or security requirements:

• Payment receipts: Retained up to 10 years (Legal requirement).
• Security logs: Retained for 12 months (Fraud prevention).
• Audit trail: Proof of deletion request retained for 36 months.

These items are isolated, not reused for marketing, and permanently deleted after the period ends.

For parents and guardians

If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor using Buddzy, you can request account deletion through the same steps or via the form above. Proof of parental responsibility may be required.
