Getting Buddzy installed on your device takes barely any effort at all — just a few taps and you'll be ready to start building your Galaxy and sending Stars to your crew. Whether you're on a Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, or any other Android device, the process is the same. Let's get you set up.
How It Works
Installing from Google Play is about as simple as it gets. Follow these steps and you'll be in the app before your coffee gets cold:
- Open Google Play Store — Find the Play Store app on your home screen or app drawer. It's the colorful triangle icon you've tapped a thousand times before.
- Search for "Buddzy" — Tap the search bar at the top, type "Buddzy," and hit enter. Our app will show up in the search results right away.
- Tap "Install" — When you see the Buddzy listing (check for our official logo), hit that green Install button. The app will start downloading and installing automatically.
- Wait a moment — The download is pretty quick. You'll see a progress bar fill up, and once it's done, the button will change to "Open."
- Launch Buddzy — Tap "Open" right there in the Play Store, or head back to your home screen where the Buddzy icon is now waiting for you.
Done. That's the whole process. No complicated setup wizards, no jumping through hoops.
Requirements
Here's what your device needs to run Buddzy smoothly:
- Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later — That covers the vast majority of Android devices still in use today. To check your version, go to Settings > About Phone > Android Version.
- Internet connection — Wi-Fi gives you the fastest download, but mobile data works perfectly fine too. Just make sure you're not on an extremely limited data plan if that's a concern.
- Available storage — You need at least 200 MB of free space. If your phone is running low, clear out some old files or unused apps first.
Pro Tips
- If you can't find Buddzy in the Play Store, make sure your Google Play app is updated to the latest version.
- Turn on auto-updates for Buddzy so you never miss new features or improvements. Go to the Buddzy page in the Play Store, tap the three-dot menu, and enable auto-update.
- Running into a "device not compatible" error? Double-check that your Android version meets the minimum requirement under Settings > About Phone.
- Once installed, keep your phone number handy. The next step is creating your account, and you'll need it for SMS verification.
