Rewarded ads in Buddzy have a daily cap, and it's important to understand exactly how it works so you can maximize your free Orbs every single day. The system is straightforward, but timing your sessions around the reset can make a real difference.
How It Works
The ad limit system is simple:
- Maximum 5 rewarded videos per 24-hour period
- Each video earns you +5 Orbs
- That's a daily cap of 25 Orbs from ads
- The counter resets at 12:00 UTC every day
The 12:00 UTC reset is the same time that your Daily Chest and Missions also reset. So everything refreshes on the same schedule. One reset time to remember, three sources of daily rewards.
Understanding the 12:00 UTC Reset
12:00 UTC is noon in London (or 1:00 PM during British Summer Time). Depending on where you live, this might hit at different local times:
- New York (EST): 7:00 AM
- Los Angeles (PST): 4:00 AM
- Paris (CET): 1:00 PM
- Tokyo (JST): 9:00 PM
Knowing your local reset time helps you plan your Buddzy sessions so you never miss a cycle. If reset happens at 7 AM your time, you can grab your fresh ads first thing in the morning.
Tracking Your Remaining Ads
The app shows you how many rewarded videos you have left for the current cycle. When you tap to watch an ad, you'll see a counter indicating your remaining watches. Once you hit 5/5, the option grays out until the next reset.
If you see the ad button but it says no videos are available, that's a different issue (check the "No Ads Available" article). The daily limit counter and ad availability are two separate things.
Pro Tips
- Front-load your ad watches. Don't wait until late in the day. Watch all 5 early to ensure you don't forget.
- Set a daily alarm for just after your local reset time. This creates a habit of claiming everything fresh right away.
- Don't stress about missed days. Ad rewards don't stack. If you miss a day, those 25 Orbs are gone. Just catch the next cycle and keep moving forward.
Good to Know
The 5-video limit is per account, not per device. Switching phones or reinstalling the app won't reset your counter. The server tracks your usage based on your Buddzy account. This keeps things fair and prevents anyone from gaming the system. Consistency beats intensity with rewarded ads. Watching 5 videos every day for a month beats binge-watching 50 in one day, which isn't even possible anyway.
