- Challenge creation — 5 Orbs
- Lore Quiz creation — 5 Orbs
- Streak Repair — 10 Orbs
- Bud Bomb — 10 Orbs
- Badge packs — 15 / 35 / 60 Orbs
- Galaxy cosmetics — 15 to 25 Orbs
- Profile banners — 25 to 100 Orbs

The key thing to understand is that Orbs are a spending currency. You earn them or buy them, then use them to do cool stuff. Every Orb you spend goes toward making the experience more fun for you and your friends.
Orbs vs Stars
This is the most important distinction in all of Buddzy. Orbs and Stars are completely separate currencies that never cross over directly. You cannot buy Stars with Orbs. Period. Stars are the social currency earned through genuine friendship activity, while Orbs are the premium currency that powers content creation and customization.
That said, spending Orbs on things like Challenges and Lore Quizzes creates opportunities to earn Stars through winning and participating. So while there's no direct conversion, Orbs indirectly fuel the Star economy by creating the activities that generate Stars.
Where Orbs Come From
You can get Orbs in several ways. The most straightforward is buying them in the Sky Shop using real money. But Buddzy is 100% free-to-play, so you can also earn them for free through the Daily Chest, watching rewarded ads, referring friends, and winning games. Nobody is locked out of the fun just because they don't want to spend money.
Pro Tips
- Don't blow Orbs on cosmetics early. Focus on hosting Challenges and Lore Quizzes first because those generate Aura and help you level up faster.
- Stack your free sources. Between the Daily Chest and rewarded ads, you can earn up to 28 Orbs per day without spending a cent.
- Think of Orbs as investments. Every Challenge you host is a chance to earn Stars back, build Aura, and climb leaderboards.
Good to Know
Orbs are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to other players.
