If someone misses a day, the counter holds its value while the Streak sits at risk — it only drops to zero if a second day goes by without a repair.
Where to Find It
You can see your Streak counter in two main places. First, it shows up right on your friend's profile page. When you tap on a friend, the Streak count is displayed prominently so you always know exactly where you stand with that person. Second, and this is the cool part, the counter is also visible as a badge on your friend's planet in your Galaxy. So just by glancing at your Galaxy, you can see which friendships have active Streaks and how long they have been going.
How It Increments
The counter increments at midnight based on your local timezone. So here is the flow. Let us say you and your friend both tap the Streak button on Monday. Then on Tuesday, you both tap it again. At midnight going into Wednesday, your counter ticks up. The system checks each calendar day from midnight to midnight in your local timezone to see if the check-in requirement was met. As long as both parties tapped the Streak button before the clock hit midnight, the counter keeps climbing.
Reading the Counter Right
A quick note that trips some people up. The counter starts at 1 on Day 2 of your exchanges, not Day 1. Day 1 is the initial setup day where both friends first tap the Streak button. So when you see a Streak of 7, that means you have had eight consecutive days of mutual Streak check-ins. The number reflects completed days of unbroken check-ins after the initial commitment.
Counter and Milestones
As your counter climbs, you will hit specific Milestones that unlock visual upgrades and bonus rewards. At 7 days you get the fire badge, at 14 days the spark, at 30 days the blaze, at 60 days the flare, at 100 days the inferno, and at 365 days the legendary eternal flame.
