One of the best things about Buddzy is that your profile isn't floating around on the open internet for anyone to find. Your entire presence in the app is visible only to the people you've actually added as friends. No public profiles, no discoverability by strangers, no creepy lurking.
How It Works
Your Buddzy profile operates on a friends-only model. Here's exactly who can see what:
- Your friends can see your full profile — avatar, display name, bio, Mood emoji, Stars received, Streaks, Aura level, Trophy Room, equipped title, and active badges.
- Non-friends can see basically nothing. If someone isn't on your friend list, they don't have access to your profile page, your stats, or your activity.
- There's no public search that lets random people browse profiles. The only way to find someone is through contacts import, a referral link, a QR code, or an exact username search.
This means your Galaxy is truly yours. Every data point on your profile — from your Star count to your Trophy Room — is shared exclusively with the people you trust.
What Friends Can See
When a friend taps your planet in their Galaxy or your name anywhere in the app, they see your full profile page. They also get quick-action buttons to interact with you:
- Give you Stars — Send you some love directly from your profile.
- Maintain your Streak — Keep the daily Star exchange going.
- Send a Bud Bomb — Hit you with a burst of Stars for maximum impact.
- Create a Challenge — Start a friendly competition right from your profile.
These interactions are the core of Buddzy's friend-to-friend gameplay, and they're all triggered from the profile view.
Rankings Are Private Too
Your position on leaderboards is only visible to the friends who share that leaderboard with you. There's no global public ranking where strangers can see how you stack up. Your Current Orbit standing, your popularity score, your all-time Stars — all private to your circle.

- You don't need to worry about "curating" your profile for strangers. It's literally impossible for non-friends to see it.
