When you open a friend's card in your Galaxy, you will notice a percentage shown as a ring around them. It appears again on the star-giving screen. That is the Synergy Metric. It tells you at a glance how balanced the Star exchange is between you and that friend.
What the Number Means
Synergy measures mutual balance. A score of 100% means you and your friend have given each other roughly the same number of Stars. The closer to 100%, the more balanced the relationship is in terms of giving and receiving.
A lower percentage means the exchange is one-sided. Maybe you have been sending a lot of Stars but not getting many back, or the other way around. Either way, a low Synergy score simply reflects an imbalance in the flow of Stars between two people.
No Mechanical Effect
Here is what makes Synergy interesting: it does absolutely nothing mechanically. There are no rewards for hitting 100%, no penalties for being at 20%, and no features that lock or unlock based on your Synergy score. It does not affect your Aura, your leaderboard position, or your Orb earnings.
It is purely a social signal. A conversation starter. Something to notice and maybe think about.
Why It Exists
Buddzy is built around friendship, and real friendships tend to be reciprocal. Synergy gives you a gentle, visual nudge toward balanced giving without forcing anything. If you notice a friend's Synergy is low, maybe send them a few extra Stars this week. Or don't. It is entirely up to you.
Where to See It
Synergy appears on the galaxy friend card and on the star-giving screen, where it reacts live as you build up a gift. When you are behind, the meter climbs as you add Stars; when you are already the bigger giver, it celebrates that instead. It never shows you going backwards — this is a friendship, not a scoreboard.
