Claiming Your Presents
Presents in Buddzy are designed to be impossible to miss and easy to claim. Whether it's a referral reward, a Founders Pack, or a badge gift from a friend, the process is the same — and it only takes a tap.
The Celebration Overlay
When you have a Present waiting for you, the celebration overlay appears automatically the next time you open the app. It takes over the screen with a visual celebration and shows you what's inside. All you need to do is tap Claim and the reward goes straight into your account. Stars land in your wallet, Orbs go to your balance, and badges are added to your collection.
There's no digging through menus, no hidden settings. The Present comes to you.
What If You Dismiss the Overlay?
Don't worry about it. If you accidentally swipe away the overlay, close the app, or just aren't ready to claim right away, your Present isn't going anywhere. Unclaimed Presents appear in your notifications tab, where they sit patiently until you're ready to open them. Tap on the notification, and the celebration overlay comes back so you can claim it at your own pace.
Nothing Is Auto-Granted
This is an important detail: Buddzy never auto-grants rewards. Your Present waits for you to claim it yourself. The team designed it this way because they believe the moment of receiving a reward should be yours to enjoy. It's not just about the Stars or Orbs — it's about the experience of getting them.
Where Rewards Go After Claiming
Once you tap Claim, everything inside the Present is distributed to the right place in your account:
- Stars go to your Star wallet, ready to give to friends.
- Orbs go to your Orb balance, contributing to your progress.
- Badges are added to your badge collection on your profile.
Quick Tips
- Open the app regularly so you don't stack up too many unclaimed Presents.
- Check your notifications tab if you think you might have missed one.
- Enjoy the moment — that's what Presents are all about.
