Presents: More Than Just a Notification
Presents are one of the most delightful parts of the Buddzy experience. They're claimable gifts that show up when you've earned a reward, and they're designed to make every reward feel like a genuine moment worth enjoying.
How Presents Work
A Present isn't something that just gets quietly added to your account in the background. When you earn one, it waits for you. The next time you open the app, a celebration overlay appears on your screen letting you know a Present has arrived. You tap Claim, the Present opens up, and you see exactly what's inside. Only then does the reward get added to your account.
This design is intentional. Buddzy wants every reward to feel meaningful, not like another number ticking up silently.
When You Receive Presents
Presents show up in several situations across Buddzy:
- Referral Rewards — When a friend you invited hits one of the four referral milestones, your reward arrives as a Present. Each milestone delivers its own Present with Stars, Orbs, or both inside.
- Founders Pack — Early adopters and special members receive a Founders Pack delivered as a Present, containing exclusive items to kick off their journey.
- Badge Gifts — When a friend sends you a badge as a gift, it arrives as a Present so you can enjoy the moment of receiving it.
- Special Events — During limited-time events or celebrations, Buddzy may send Presents to participants as part of the experience.
What Can Be Inside a Present
Depending on the type, a Present can contain Stars, Orbs, badges, or a combination of these. The celebration overlay always shows you what's inside before you claim it, so there are no surprises — just good ones.
Never Lose a Present
If you happen to dismiss the celebration overlay or close the app before claiming, your Present doesn't disappear. Unclaimed Presents are always accessible from your notifications tab. They stay there until you're ready to open them, so nothing is ever lost.
Presents turn rewards into moments. They're Buddzy's way of making sure the good stuff feels good.
