Every Sunday, Buddzy sends you a quick summary of your week. The Weekly Recap is a push notification that lands on your phone with a snapshot of your activity, no need to open the app to see how your week went.
What It Shows
The recap covers three key stats from the past seven days:
- Stars Given — How many Stars you sent out to friends during the week.
- Stars Received — How many Stars came your way from your friend network.
- Active Streaks — The number of Streaks you currently have running.
That is it. Simple, clean, and useful. You get a quick read on whether you were active or quiet, generous or coasting, and how your Streak game is holding up.
How to Unlock It
The Weekly Recap is not available to everyone from day one. You need to unlock it through the Weekly Recap soft gate, which requires having at least 3 reciprocal friends. Once you hit that threshold, the recap activates and stays active permanently, even if your friend count dips below 3 later.
Why It Matters
Not everyone opens Buddzy every single day, and that is totally fine. The Weekly Recap keeps you connected to your progress without demanding your time. It arrives on Sunday, you glance at it, and you know exactly where you stand heading into the new week.
Getting the Most Out of It
Use your recap as a quick check-in. If your Stars Given is low, maybe plan to spread some love next week. If your Streaks are dropping, it might be time to reconnect with a friend or two. Think of it as your Buddzy scorecard, delivered right to your lock screen every Sunday.
