Every Buddzy user gets their own personal invite link. This link is tied directly to your account, which means anyone who signs up through it is connected back to you. That connection is what triggers your referral rewards as your friend progresses through their early Buddzy journey.
What Your Friend Sees
When someone taps your invite link, they're greeted with a personalized welcome screen. It says something like "You were invited by [Your Name]!" along with a friendly note about how many friends are already waiting for them on Buddzy. This makes the experience feel personal right from the start — your friend knows they're joining because of you, not just downloading a random app.
Works Across Every Platform
Your invite link works everywhere. Whether you share it in a text message, drop it in a WhatsApp group, post it on Instagram, or send it through any other channel, the link adapts to whatever platform your friend is on. It detects their device and sends them to the right place automatically.
What If They Don't Have Buddzy Installed?
This is where things get smart. If your friend taps the link but doesn't have Buddzy installed yet, the link first routes them to the appropriate app store — App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android. Once they download and open the app, the link picks up again and drops them straight into the onboarding flow with your name already attached. This is called a deferred deep link, and it makes sure your friend's experience is seamless from the very first tap.
No Link, No Credit
Keep in mind that your friend needs to sign up through your specific link for the referral to count. If they download Buddzy on their own without using your link, the system won't be able to connect their account back to yours. So always share the link directly rather than just telling someone to search for the app.
