You have probably noticed that Buddzy does not just dump rewards into your account automatically. There is always a Claim button standing between you and your hard-earned loot. This is not lazy design — it is actually a very intentional choice, and understanding why it exists will make you appreciate it.
How It Works
After you complete a Mission, the Missions tab updates to show that the task is done. But your Stars and Aura are not in your account yet. They are sitting in a "ready to claim" state, waiting for you to tap the Claim button. Only after you tap does the reward get credited to your account. Rewards are never auto-granted — manual claiming is always required.
The flow looks like this:
- Mission completed — Task shows as done in the Missions tab
- Claim button appears — A clear, tappable button becomes active
- You tap Claim — Reward instantly credits to your account: the Mission's Stars plus 10 Aura
- Confirmation — You see the reward animation and your balance updates
It is a single tap. Takes less than a second. But that single tap is the difference between getting your reward and losing it entirely.
Why It Exists
The Claim button is an anti-loss design pattern. Here is the thinking behind it. If rewards were collected automatically in the background, you would never really feel them. You might not even notice you earned something. Worse, if something went wrong with a background collection, you might lose rewards without realizing it.
By requiring an explicit action, Buddzy ensures:
- You are aware of every reward you receive
- You consciously collect rather than passively accumulating
- No accidental losses from background sync issues or app crashes
- The reward moment feels real because you are actively participating in it
The Design Philosophy
Think about it like opening a gift versus having someone silently deposit cash in your bank account. Both give you something, but one feels way more satisfying. The Claim button is Buddzy's version of unwrapping a gift. It turns a passive event into an active moment of hey, I earned this.

- Treat the Claim button like a reflex — Complete task, tap Claim, done. No delays
- Never leave a completed Mission unclaimed thinking you will get to it later
- Check the Missions tab before logging off every single time
- The Claim button is your friend, not an obstacle. It is protecting you from missed rewards
Good to Know
The Claim mechanic is not unique to Missions. The Daily Chest and other reward systems work the same way. Once you build the habit of claiming immediately, it becomes second nature. The people who lose rewards think "I will claim it later." Do not be that person.
