How It Works
When you open the Galaxy screen, here's what you're looking at:
You Are the Sun
Right in the center of the screen, that's you. The Sun. Everything in your Buddzy universe revolves around you — literally.
Your Friends Are Planets
Each friend in your Buddzy network appears as a planet orbiting around your Sun. Every single connection has its own planet, and no two Galaxies look the same because everyone's friendship patterns are different.
Distance Equals Stars Given
The closer a planet is to your Sun, the more Stars you've exchanged with that friend. Your best friend who you trade Stars with daily? Right up close in a tight orbit. That person you added last week and haven't interacted with yet? Way out in the far reaches of your Galaxy.
Size Reflects Aura Phase
The size of each planet represents that friend's current Aura phase. Friends who are more active and have leveled up their Aura appear as bigger, more prominent planets in your Galaxy.
Reading Your Galaxy
Once you understand the visual language, the Galaxy becomes an incredibly powerful snapshot of your social life:
- Tight cluster of planets close to the center — You have a strong core group of friends you interact with regularly. This is a healthy, active Galaxy.
- Planets drifting outward — Those friendships need some attention. Send those friends some Stars to pull their planets back in.
- One massive planet dominating the view — You've got a clear best friend in the Buddzy universe. Their Aura is high and your Star exchange is intense.
Pro Tips
- Check your Galaxy daily. It changes in real time as you give and receive Stars, so it's always a fresh experience.
- Use the Galaxy as a reminder of which friends you haven't interacted with recently. If someone's planet is drifting away, that's your cue to send them some love.
- Tap on any planet to jump straight into interacting with that friend — give Stars, check your Streak status, or see your exchange history.
- Screenshot your Galaxy occasionally. Looking back at how it evolves over weeks and months is genuinely fascinating and shows how your friendships grow.
