Your Galaxy is the app's home, which means it also has to be the door to everything else. That is the Action Bar: a floating pill at the bottom of the screen with four buttons.
On your own Galaxy
| Button | What it opens |
|---|---|
| Games | A selector for Challenges, Quizzes and Reveal, each with a live count of what's active |
| Hub | The Grow and Play tabs |
| Activity | Notifications and the friend feed |
| Share | Capture your Galaxy, or open the system share sheet |
Four buttons, and that is genuinely the whole navigation of the app. Everything else is reached from inside one of them, or by tapping something in the Galaxy itself.
The live counts on Games
The Games button does not just open a menu — each game shows how many things are actually waiting. If Reveal shows a number, there is a Reveal you have not answered.
It means you can tell at a glance whether opening the menu is worth it, without going in and out of three separate hubs.
On a friend's Galaxy
Visit someone else and the bar changes to actions aimed at them:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Activities | Springs open a popover of things to do with them |
| React | Leave an emoji reaction on their Galaxy |
| Give Star | Opens the giving screen aimed at the owner |
| Share | Share their Galaxy |
Activities is the interesting one. It pops open above the bar with two rows: direct gifts (Bud Bomb, Gift Badge) and game invitations (Challenge, Quiz, Reveal). Bud Bomb only appears when your friendship is reciprocal.
It is the exact same block you get by expanding a friend card — same actions, same sheets — just aimed at whoever's Galaxy you are standing in.
Giving Stars on a friend's Galaxy
Give Star here targets the Galaxy's owner, who is the Sun rather than a planet. The Stars are committed without the flying animation, because there is no planet for them to fly to.
Everything else about the giving screen is identical.
What is not on it
No search — that lives in the top bar, next to the Legend button. No rankings — those are on the right-hand rail. No settings.
Good to know
Wherever you end up in the app, there is always a route back to your Galaxy — including when you arrived from a push notification or an invite link. Back never throws you out of Buddzy.
