What Is a Nudge?
A Nudge is a friendly tap on the shoulder for a friend who hasn't been around in a while. It's your way of saying, "Hey, we miss you!" — and Buddzy makes it rewarding for both of you.
How It Works
When you send a Nudge, 3 of your Stars go to your friend as the nudge itself. Think of it as a small gift that travels with your reminder. Your friend receives a notification letting them know you thought of them, along with those 3 Stars waiting in their account.
Here's where it gets exciting: if your friend returns to the app within 48 hours of receiving your Nudge, both of you earn 5 bonus Stars as a reunion reward. That's a net gain for you and a warm welcome back for them.
Rules and Limits
To keep Nudges meaningful and prevent spam, there are a few guidelines:
- Cooldown period: You can nudge each friend once every 14 days. This ensures every Nudge feels intentional rather than repetitive.
- Inactivity requirement: The friend must have been inactive for at least 5 days before you can nudge them. You can't nudge someone who's been active recently — they don't need the reminder!
- Star cost: Each Nudge costs 3 Stars from your balance, so use them thoughtfully.
When to Use Nudges
Nudges are perfect for friends who drifted away but you know would love to be back. Maybe life got busy, or they simply forgot to open the app. A well-timed Nudge can rekindle that connection and bring them back into your circle.

The 5-Star reunion bonus is designed to celebrate reconnection. When your friend comes back within the 48-hour window, you'll both see a cheerful notification confirming the bonus. It's a win-win that makes staying connected feel genuinely rewarding.
