Welcome Back
Life gets busy, and sometimes you step away from Buddzy for a few days. That's completely okay. When you come back, the app greets you with a helpful summary of everything that happened while you were gone — no scrolling through endless notifications required.
What the Summary Shows
The "While You Were Away" screen gathers the most important updates into one clear view:
- Pending Stars from friends: See who sent you Stars while you were away and how many are waiting for you.
- New friend requests or connections: Find out if anyone sent you a friend request or if a previous request was accepted.
- Nudges waiting for you: If a friend nudged you, you'll see their message and the Stars they sent along with it.
- Presents ready to claim: Any Presents that arrived during your absence are highlighted so you don't miss them.
- Group highlights: Get a quick snapshot of what's been happening in your group while you were gone.
When It Appears
The summary screen shows up automatically after 2 or more days of inactivity. You don't need to look for it — Buddzy knows when you've been away and presents the summary as soon as you open the app.

The whole point of the "While You Were Away" screen is to make returning feel warm and inviting rather than overwhelming. Instead of dumping a long list of notifications on you, Buddzy organizes everything into a friendly, easy-to-read format.

After reviewing your summary, you can jump right back into the app with full context. Claim your pending Stars, respond to friend requests, and pick up right where you left off. Buddzy makes sure that coming back always feels like coming home.
