Lore Quizzes have two thresholds, and mixing them up is easy. One is for showing off. The other pays.
| Score | What it gets you |
|---|---|
| 75%+ | 2 Stars from the host |
| 85%+ | 10 Aura, and the high-score title |
75% is the money line
Score 75% or higher on a friend's quiz and they owe you 2 Stars.
The bar sits below the high-score bar on purpose. Acing a quiz should be hard — that is what makes it worth boasting about. But the reward should be reachable by anyone who genuinely knows their friend, and 75% is roughly "you know this person" rather than "you have memorised this person".
The Stars come from the host
Like every game reward in Buddzy, these are not new Stars from nowhere. They come from the quiz's creator, through your friendship.
So a good score:
- Raises your received Star total
- Strengthens your bond with that friend — your planets move closer
- Does not top up your giveable balance
It is exactly as if they had handed you 2 Stars for knowing them well. Which is a nicer thing than a payout.
They're owed, not given
Nothing moves until you claim. The Stars sit as a debt from the moment you finish the quiz.
- A claim prompt opens the next time you open the app
- If you have already closed the quiz, a notification points you back to it
- Pressing claim more than once still grants exactly 2 Stars — there is no double-dipping and no way to lose them by tapping twice
Everyone knows the price up front
The reward is shown twice before anyone can earn it:
- To the host, on the creation summary, so they know what a good score will cost them
- To the player, on the quiz page, before they start
Nobody is surprised. The host chose to put Stars on the table; the player knew what they were playing for.
Your own quiz pays nothing
Playing a quiz you made earns no Stars and no Aura. There is no friendship to deepen — you are the friendship.
If you fall short
Below 75% you still earn 3 Aura for completing it, and it still counts towards your Scholar ladder. Getting your friend wrong is a normal outcome of a well-made quiz, and the app does not treat it as a failure.
For hosts
Every friend who scores 75%+ costs you 2 Stars. That is not a reason to make your quiz brutal — a quiz nobody passes is a quiz nobody enjoyed, and it earns you the same 5 Aura either way.
Think of the Stars as the point rather than the price. You wrote a quiz about yourself and a friend proved they knew you. Two Stars is a cheap way to say so.
