This is not a soft deactivation where your profile goes invisible but your data hangs around just in case. This is a full, permanent purge of everything associated with your account. Your right to have your data completely erased is one we actually respect.
How It Works
When you request account deletion, here is what happens:
- You initiate the deletion — Head to Settings > Help > Contact Support and request account deletion
- Verification step — We confirm the request is coming from the actual account owner
- Complete data purge begins — Every piece of data tied to your account enters the deletion pipeline
- Permanent removal — Your data is wiped from all active systems and backups within the processing window
What Gets Deleted
Literally everything. Here is the full breakdown:
- Your profile — Username, avatar, bio, mood, emoji, all gone
- Your game data — Stars sent and received, Streak history, Aura level, Mission progress, achievements, Current Orbit records
- Your social graph — Your friend list, all connections, all mutual relationships
- Your Galaxy — Your entire solar system visualization disappears
- Your contact hashes — The anonymized hashes used for matching
- Your notification history — Every push notification and in-app alert
- Your purchase records within Buddzy — Orb transaction history inside the app
What This Means for Your Friends
When your account is purged, you vanish from everyone else's Galaxy too. Your planet disappears from their solar systems, your Streaks with them end, and your Stars are removed from their rankings. It is a clean break in every direction.
Full Erasure, No Exceptions
Buddzy fully supports your right to be forgotten. There is no hidden archive, no anonymized-but-still-stored version, and no "we keep it for 90 days just in case" grace period beyond what is necessary for processing.

- Before deleting, consider exporting your data first if you want a record of your Buddzy journey.
- Deletion is irreversible. If you come back later, you start completely fresh with a new account.
