Buddzy is designed to be a positive-only space where you and your friends celebrate each other. But we know that sometimes people push boundaries, and that is why there is a straightforward reporting system built right into the app. If you ever see something that feels off — an offensive bio, an inappropriate profile photo, or anything that violates the spirit of what Buddzy is about — you have the power to flag it immediately.
How It Works
Reporting is quick and designed to be low-friction:
- Navigate to the profile — Tap on the user's planet in your Galaxy or find them in your friend list
- Open the report menu — Look for the report option on their profile screen
- Select the reason — Choose the category that best describes the issue, such as offensive bio, inappropriate photo, or other
- Submit the report — Hit submit and you are done. The report goes directly to our moderation team
The whole process takes about 10 seconds. You do not need to write an essay explaining the problem — just pick the category and submit.
What Gets Reviewed
The reporting system covers the main areas where users can express themselves publicly within their friend circle:
- Profile bios — Text content that is offensive, hateful, or inappropriate
- Profile photos — Images that are explicit, violent, or otherwise violate community standards
- Usernames — Names that are offensive or impersonate others
- Mood and emoji usage — Any creative misuse that crosses the line
What Happens After You Report
Once a report is submitted, our moderation team reviews it. If the content violates our community guidelines, action is taken — which can range from content removal to account warnings to permanent bans depending on the severity. You will not be notified of the specific outcome, but you can trust that every report is taken seriously.
The Positive-Only Philosophy
Buddzy does not have DMs, comment sections, or public feeds. This dramatically reduces the surface area for toxic behavior compared to traditional social apps. The reporting system exists as an extra safety net for the limited areas where self-expression is possible — profiles, bios, and photos.

- Do not hesitate to report. False positives are better than letting something harmful slide.
- You can report and block simultaneously if you want the person removed from your experience immediately.
- Reports are anonymous. The person you report will not know who flagged them.
