When Repair Is No Longer Possible

Repair isn't limited by how many times you've used it — it's limited by time. You get one day, and then the option is gone for good.

There is exactly one limit on Streak repair, and it is not the one people expect. You are not rationed. Nobody counts how many times you have repaired a Streak. The limit is time.

The window is one day

When a Streak goes at risk, the repair option opens. It stays open for one day. If a second day passes without either the fidelity button being tapped or the repair being bought, three things happen at once:

  • The counter resets to zero
  • The repair option disappears
  • The Streak becomes an ordinary, unstarted friendship again

There is no late repair, no appeal, and no way to buy your way back. Once the window shuts, the only route to a big number is starting over.

You are not rationed

There is no cap on how many times a single Streak can be repaired. If your Streak with Alex goes at risk in March and again in July, both are repairable. Each costs 10 Orbs.

Repairs are also entirely independent per friendship. Fixing your Streak with Alex has no effect on your Streak with Jordan.

So what actually stops you

Two things, and only two:

  1. The one-day window closing. This is the real limit.
  2. Not having 10 Orbs. If your balance is short when the window opens, you are watching the clock instead of fixing the problem.

Keep a small reserve

That second one is worth planning for. Keeping 10 Orbs spare means a missed day is a mild annoyance rather than the end of a long Streak. If you are running several serious Streaks, keep a little more.

The uncomfortable version: the moment you need Orbs is the moment you have least time to go and earn them.

When not to repair

Repair is not automatically the right call. A short Streak is cheaper to rebuild than to rescue — three days of tapping costs nothing, and 10 Orbs is a Bud Bomb or most of a Galaxy audio track.

A rough line: under a week, let it go and restart. Past a month, it is almost always worth the Orbs.

The bottom line

Repair is generous — unlimited uses, flat price, counter preserved. It is only strict about one thing, and that thing is the clock. Notice fast, decide fast, and the system will not punish you.
