If you've been looking for the most hype feature in Buddzy, you just found it. Challenges are creative dares that you send to a hand-picked group of friends. You come up with a prompt, your friends submit their best responses, and then you crown the winner. It's basically a mini competition that turns your group chat energy into actual gameplay.
How It Works
Here's the flow. You create a Challenge by writing a creative prompt — something like "Best impression of your math teacher" or "Most dramatic goodbye to your phone for the night." You pick which friends get invited, set a deadline, and hit publish. That's it, you're live.
- Your invited friends get a push notification instantly letting them know a Challenge is waiting
- Submissions are hidden from everyone until the deadline hits — no peeking, no copying
- Three response formats are available depending on the prompt: Photo, Video, or Text
- Each participant gets exactly one shot at submitting — no edits, no do-overs
- When the timer runs out, all submissions are revealed simultaneously in the Gallery
The creator (that's you) then reviews all the entries and picks a winner. The winning friend walks away with Stars and Orbs, and you get the satisfaction of running the whole show.
What It Costs
Creating a Challenge costs 5 Orbs from your wallet. That's the entry fee to be the host. On top of that, you set a Star reward between 3 and 20 Stars that comes out of your own Star wallet when you crown the winner. Think of it as putting your money where your mouth is — you're investing in the fun.
Pro Tips
- Start with friends you know will actually participate. A dead Challenge with no submissions is a waste of your Orbs.
- Be specific with your prompts. "Do something funny" gets mid results. "Show me your best celebrity chef impression using only stuff from your desk" gets legendary content.
- Pay attention to timing. If your crew is all online at the same time, a Flash Challenge (10 minutes) creates insane energy.

New in v0.7: You can now Fork public Challenges — clone a great prompt and send it to your own friends (the original creator earns 1 Orb). After the deadline, a People's Choice vote runs alongside the official judging, letting all participants vote for their favorite submission.
